Artificial Intelligence: ChatGPT and Image Creator from Microsoft Bing

Artificial intelligence is gaining a lot of interest these days.  In the academic world, the text generation tool called ChatGPT has gained a lot of interest.  Faculty have seen a rise in the use of the AI tool in the generation of student essays.  For an example, I used the prompt "Write an article about the use of ChatGPT" and got the following response (note that this is just the first paragraph of the final product.

"Title: Revolutionizing Communication: The Unparalleled Potential of ChatGPT

Introduction: In recent years, the world has witnessed remarkable advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP), leading to the creation of powerful language models like ChatGPT. Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT represents a significant leap forward in conversational AI, transforming the way we communicate and interact with machines. This article explores the remarkable applications and potential impact of ChatGPT in various domains, highlighting its capacity to revolutionize communication."

Also of interest is the use of Artificial Intelligence to generate images.  One of the tools used for this is "Image Creator from Microsoft Bing".  After providing the tool with a prompt, a series of four images is produced.  I have included some examples below with the prompt that was used.  I was impressed.

Prompt:  English Springer Spaniel with puppies

Prompt: Kansas wheat field during an evening thunderstorm

 I found the results amazing.
